My Work Showcase
As marketers, we analyze the data and reports to zero-in on our target audience. Then, we get to work creating the perfect, clever concept. There is no greater feeling than watching it come to life in a digital world of endless possibilities. Except maybe when the results roll in. Below are a few of the projects I've had the pleasure of concepting, researching, and writing.

MY STORY
I always knew I would be a writer. I cut my teeth as a marketer after earning a Junior Copywriter position at my first agency. All the days and nights laboring over projects were the foundation for my diverse skill-set and ability to plow through work. By learning through my successes and failures, I concepted and wrote two of the company’s top-performing eBooks and email marketing campaigns. They’re still in use today, and they’ve generated hundreds-of-thousands of dollars in revenue. It all stems back to the amazing work our team executed.
After wearing many hats, I've gotten to explore the data analysis side of marketing, concepting, pitching, copywriting, persona creation, design QA review, and insight report-writing. I've also had the pleasure of training talented junior creative team members. Today, I enjoy annoying my family and friends by identifying the target personas of tv ads and billboards. That's in addition to creating kick-ass marketing plans and collateral, of course. Every time our creative team gathers to begin brainstorming, the thrill of the chase is on as we pursue an idea that's more than good; that's clever and perfect. I feel humbled to create content that makes a difference for my company and clients.
PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
CONTENT DIRECTOR, MERIDIAN HOME MORTGAGE
August 2016 – Present
I am responsible for all digital and print content across our company, from lead generation through nurturing and closing. I manage the persona creation, demographics targeting, content, and printer setups for a national direct mail campaign. I helped launch a successful re-brand project, a new website, and landing page improvements that led to a 400% increase in conversion rates. I am proud to have established the brand and voice of Meridian. I crafted Meridian's winning entry in the Baltimore Business Journal's Best Places to Work contest.
COPYWRITER, TSL MARKETING
June 2014 – August 2016
I concepted and wrote two of the company’s most successful digital campaigns, which brought in over 2,000 leads and led to over $200,000 in closed business revenue for our IBM clients. I managed a team of 6 full-time writers and led concepting meetings with management, design, and copy teams. I helped craft multifaceted marketing campaigns, which included the creation of: eBooks, case studies, Infographics, banner ads, websites, blogs, sell sheets, digital ads, whitepapers, emails, landing pages, video scripts, and more.
JUNIOR COPYWRITER, TSL MARKETING
June 2013 – June 2014
I gained an 100% vote from the creative team and was chosen as the top hire among internal and external candidates. After undergoing an extremely fast transition, I inherited a full copy schedule and split 50% of the agency's copy workload with the Senior Copywriter from day one. I learned to think on my feet, manage deadlines, write like the wind, and get it done in one draft. I was introduced to a wide variety of new projects in this role.
BUSINESS TECHNICAL SPECIALIST, TSL MARKETING
October 2012 – June 2013
I was one of six individuals hand-chosen by the CEO to participate in a council to analyze and address operational issues within the business development team. I worked in conjunction with the CEO, Project Quality Manager, and one other council member to create a Red Flag Resolution Plan that identifies troubled outbound marketing campaigns. After 4 months at the company, I was awarded Team Lead of an 8-person sales team.
